Hotel Sweden? @ 11:00 am

Current Location: Osaka
Current Mood: amused

I noticed that there's a love hotel right next to my hotel that's called Hotel Sweden. I gotta admit I'm curious if it's decorated with swedish flags or something...

Though going into a love hotel alone seems weird and I doubt I'll be able to persuade a local girl to join me without having to explain myself to the police ^^;

Also, I went shopping today and i must say... biiiiiig stores here o_O

Freaking store had 7 floors each floor bigger than any store I've seen back home.

But I must say, they're pretty creative. Darth Vader USB hubs, USB air fresheners, USB battery chargers, chibi bluetooth keyboards etc. Useless, sure but creative non-the-less.

Amazing @ 07:52 am

Current Location: Osaka
Current Mood: cynical
Current Music: *vrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*

Sometimes I amaze myself.

All I had to do was follow the road and I'd get to the shrine. Of course I managed to get off track and wound up walking aimlessly for a few hours.

Finally I say: "Screw it" and start to try and figure out how to get back to the hotel and lo and behold, what do I stumble upon? The shrine.

And it was a bit underwhelming. Obviously I should be looking for a temple not a shrine -_-

Plus side is that I found a store that had a good copy of Suikoden IV for cheap so it wasn't a total loss.

Umeda Sky Building @ 07:39 am

Current Location: Osaka
Current Mood: confused
Current Music: Still *vrrrr*

I took a walk to the Umeda Sky Building today.

Easier to find rhan Osaka-jo, as it's kinda hard to miss the 7th tallest building in the city from anywhere.

I dunno... maybe I'm getting my hopes too high but is it really unreasonable to expect some sort of garden in the "floating garden"..? I mean two trees and a patch of grass would have qualified it in my view.

Oh, it rained yesterday so it wasn't as hot but I was painfully reminded of how hot it usually is as soon as I stepped out today. x_x

Osaka II @ 08:08 am

Current Location: Osaka
Current Mood: amused
Current Music: AC going *vrrrr* again

Ahahaha... I went to Den-Den Town and walked around some, I also visited a maid café XD

Hilarious. First when you sit down they do a little dance and shape their hands like a heart and again when you leave. XD

Unfortunatly none of them spoke any english so I'm not sure what I missed out on but I think there was a special menu where you could pay to have them play games with (I definatly saw Uno) you.

Since I wouldn't be able to understand anyway I declined, but I did get a picture taken with my maid Rumi. They wanted me to wear bunny ears on it but I adamantly refused.

She at least found it funny when I proclaimed "gomen ne, baka gaijin desu". ^^v

Osaka @ 04:50 pm

Current Location: Japan
Current Mood: blank
Current Music: AC going *vrrrr*

Well then, I finslly arrived in Osaka, and it is brutally hot. Yet I seem to be the only one sweating like a pig without AC o_O

Spent most of the day trying not to fall asleep till I could get to the room which didn't allow check-in till 14.00 which meant that around 13:30 I started nodding off where I sat waiting ^^;;

Btw, there's seems to be a lot of love hotels around here and I saw plenty of school kids going in... tsk tsk.

Things you learn... @ 01:02 pm

Current Mood: amused

Things you learn watching Shark Attack III: Megalodon.

* Sharks can roar and growl despite having neither the lungs or vocal cords required.

* Digital cameras are now able to take perfect photos and upload them to the computer directly and in the process remove any pesky backgrounds or object obstructing the view (like the fingers holding the item up), all without the photographer even needing to take a look in the viewfinder.

* In case a gigantic prehistoric shark comes back and starts eating people no one but you and your friend will be concerned enough to do anything about it.

* Small boats are capable of staying afloat even when there's a shark-sized hole in them and filled to the brim with water.

* It's perfectly normal for people to have fully functioning torpedos in their basements.

* Yellow submarines that from the outside look like they might be able to hold one person laying flat and assuming he's not claustrophobic, are surpringly roomy inside with enough space for two pilot seats without being cramped.

* Sharks change size depending on what they're currently eating to accomodate for only having to take one bite.

For some reason I get the feeling that the people that programmed my TV aren't entirely up to speed on how a clock works...

My computer gives the most cryptic messages sometimes...

I don't know... Is it telling me I'm about to die? Should I be worried? O_O;

Current Mood: chipper
Current Music: Nightmare - The World

This should be interesting... got a letter from the electronics store that I can now pick up my phone as it has 'completed service'. They seem to be blissfully unaware of the fact that after two months of nagging they gave me a new phone...

The plot thickens. It's always interesting when one hand doesn't know what the hell the other is doing, or in this case even where it is.

Meh @ 10:44 am

Current Mood: blah
Current Music: Chiaki Ishikawa - Uninstall

Been a while eh? Not that it matters much since the only two people that read here already know everything that happens to me ^^;

Either way I'm generally miffed about the Post Office because they seemed to have decided I don't need to know when I have packages to collect and just let me go ask them randomly instead.

And tomorrow I have to take Bella to the vet, aside from being a generally unpleasant experience for both of us, though more so for her, it's also expensive so that just makes you happy-go-lucky inside.

I also haven't eaten a meal in 7 weeks now due to a diet I'm on. And it's working like a charm but if I don't get my damn packages I won't have anything to do to keep my mind off the hunger.
